This page is specifically intended to support patients who have been prescribed Cosentyx® (secukinumab) by a UK healthcare provider.
If you have any questions about your medication, ask your doctor, nurse or pharmacist and read the patient information leaflet provided with your medicine.
It is important not to try to inject yourself until you have been trained by your doctor, nurse or pharmacist. A caregiver may also give you your Cosentyx injection after proper training.
Cosentyx 75 mg pre-filled syringe injection video
This page contains a short 6-minute video showing you how to prepare and inject Cosentyx with the 75 mg pre-filled syringe.
If your device does not resemble the image above, you should watch the alternative videos for: Cosentyx SensoReady® 150 mg pen and Cosentyx UnoReady® 300 mg pen.
This video has been funded and developed by Novartis Pharmaceuticals UK Ltd.
Please read the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) for your 75 mg pre-filled syringe provided with your medication carefully, as it contains important additional information about what you need to know before you start treatment. The PIL is the leaflet included in the pack with a medicine. It is written for patients and gives information about taking or using a medicine. It is possible that the leaflet in your medicine pack may differ from the online version because it may have been updated since your medicine was packaged.
This video does not replace the instructions and important additional information in the PIL.
If you require any further information or are concerned about any aspect of the injection, talk to your healthcare professional.
