Breast cancer (BC) is the most commonly diagnosed cancer worldwide
With estimated new cases exceeding 2 million in 2020. Furthermore, it represents the leading cause of cancer death in women, with more than 680,000 deaths.1
In Egypt,
most of the cases present as locally advanced or metastatic rather than early stages.1
Breast cancer diagnosis
Typically involves a combination of physical exams, imaging tests like mammograms and ultrasounds, and potentially a biopsy to confirm the presence of cancer cells.If cancer is found, further tests like CT scans or MRIs may be used to check for spread to other parts of the body.2
